Del Saz abogados was born in 2021 from the need to practise a vocation turned into a profession with passion and complete freedom, to practise LAW surrounded by the best professionals in a highly demanding environment that promotes excellence with an undeniable approach, while accompanying our clients in the resolution of their conflicts, in achieving their goals, in the predicament of their defeats. del Saz Ortiz
He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Murcia and a Master’s Degree in Business Legal Counsel by ENAE as well as 21 years’ expertise first at Garrigues (2001-2008) and then at PwC (2008-2021), where he was a Partner for the last 7 years.
At PwC, besides managing the office in Murcia, he was a Partner responsible for his legal practice in the East (offices of Valencia, Alicante and Murcia) and during the last 3 years a Partner responsible for insolvency practice at a national level.
He is an expert in procedural and corporate law and has worked in numerous corporate transactions, both for investment and divestment, counselling venture capital funds, the shareholders or the managing team of the companies involved.
Throughout his career he has been an Arbitrator, a Receiver and has given courses and presentations at the IE (Business Institute) and several Chambers of Commerce.
Since 2014, he has been included in Best Lawyers in the categories of Litigation and Insolvency and in 2021 he was formally recognised as Lawyer of the Year in Litigation Murcia.

Maceira Suárez
Bachelor’s double degree in ICADE-E1 (Law and Business Administration and Management) from the University Pontificia de Comillas, he worked at PwC for 24 years (1993-2017), where, as a Partner, he held several positions of responsibility managing the specializations in Transactions and Finance, and he became one of the executives of the firm.
Javier is an expert in Transactions and company purchase and sales, corporate restructuring, financing and refinancing, fields in which he has been working successfully for over 30 years, reconciling professional practice with teaching at the IE, among other institutions, as a teacher in the specialization of banking contracts.

Alonso Ortiz
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Murcia and a Master’s Degree in European Union Law and Competition Law from the University Carlos III (Madrid), she has developed her professional career at CMS Albiñana y Suarez de Lezo (2007-2011) and PwC (2011-2021).
With wide expertise in corporate governance, corporate and contract law, mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, and joint ventures, she counsels clients and national and international investors in different areas (particularly in private equity, energy, real estate and consumer products). Moreover, she often participates in the design and coordination of projects of restructuring, refinancing and multidisciplinary structural changes.
